Evangelist Fernon E. Flomo was born in Monrovia, Liberia on January 25, 1973 into the Flomo, Vampelt and Brown families respectively. He was brought up into a Christian family within the Lutheran and Baptist faith. Evg. Flomo completed his high school education at the College of West Africa (CWA) Monrovia, Liberia in the year of 1989 and earned a BA within Business Administration (General Strategic Management) from the Temple University in Philadelphia, USA in 2000, upon relocating to the USA because of the civil war occurring in Liberia.

Evangelist Flomo started his singing Ministry from the tender age of 6years as he was enrolled in the junior choir of the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Liberia. The choir was later renamed the Martin Luther Chorus under the directorship of Mr. Charles C.B. Grove, Mrs. Catherine Woods and Mr. Hassan Sankary who were Assistant Directors. As evangelist Flomo was in the choir he started out singing soprano because of his high octaves. As he matured vocally he started to sing alto than tenor until the civil war, at which point he and his family relocated to Danane, Ivory Coast as refugee in 1991. While in the Ivory Coast, evangelist Flomo was a member of the praise and worship team of the Liberian Christian Fellowship (LCF). Upon the establishment of the Lutheran Refugee Congregation in Danane, he became the choir director leading the choir to many concerts and musical

programs held at that time. While in Danane, Ivory Coast, evangelist Flomo also had the opportunity of being a part of the Liberian Artist Group working with Liberia’s outstanding artists in the likes of Princess Fatu Gayflor (Liberia’s Folk Singer) and Mr. Steve Worjloh (Big Steve) singing background during concerts and playing traditional drumming until In September of 1993, evangelist and his family resettled in the United States of America until at present. Upon his arrival he worshipped at the Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he was on the gospel choir under the directorship of Mrs. Victoria Blackshear and the sanctuary choir under the directorship of Mr. Woody Harrison. He served as one of the lead vocalists in both of the choirs until November of 2006 as he started to fellowship with the Christ Apostolic Church Mt. of Redemption (CAC) and became a member. Evangelist Flomo spiritual journey and relationship with God started as he was part of this body of Christ at which point he was appointed as the choir master (Director), later ordained an Evangelist in October of 2010 and a member of the prayer warrior team. Evangelist Flomo does not only sing, but also preaches and teach the word of God after undergoing trainings set by the church. In July of 2012, evangelist was privileged to sing with West African International Gospel worshipper Minister Sonnie Badu at one of his concerts. Min. Badu took evangelist Flomo with him in 2012 and 2013 to Accra Ghana for his Africa Worship with Sonnie Badu concert where he sang background during those concerts. Evang. Flomo is presently a member of the Sonnie Badu Ministries USA and international traveling around the USA singing the message of God through songs. In August of 2012, evang. Flomo launched his first solo project (“NOT GONNA BE DOWN”), WHICH IS SET FOR RE-RELEASE THIS YEAR THROUGH KNG GOSPEL KINGDOM/ MPRE/ORCHARD SONY MUSIC GROUP. and launched his first video with one of the songs from the project “IF THERE IS NO GOD”. It is the dream and prayer of evang. Flomo to continue taking the word of God around the world through music and whatever means God will allow him to. For more information on Min.
